Central Trier Hotel Option – Only £70 extra
If you would like to be in Trier itself, you may prefer to stay on a bed and breakfast basis at the three star Hotel Römerbrücke on the banks of the River Moselle, just a five minute walk from the old town. The hotel has a restaurant and bar and all bedrooms feature private facilities, TV, radio and telephone. There is a supplement of £70 per person for this holiday. (Available on all dates)

Itinerary
DAY 1
Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Evening arrival at your hotel for a three night stay.

Trier – Formerly a Roman settlement on the Moselle, Germany’s oldest town has a superb Christmas market in the pedestrianised centre, overlooked by the impressive Cathedral and the Roman tower known as the Porta Nigra. There is also an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
THE FOLLOWING EXCURSIONS ARE OPTIONAL:
Moselle Valley – A leisurely three-quarter day excursion visiting the popular town of Cochem, with a wine tasting.
Moselle River Cruise – Enjoy a leisurely boat trip along the peaceful Moselle River.
DAY 4
Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continue to your original departure point in the evening.
