This famous four-day Christmas market offers an array of stalls selling gifts and crafts – there is even a ‘made in Yorkshire’ market held in the impressive medieval Guild Hall selling locally produced goods.

This morning we include a walking tour of the old town with a local guide. This afternoon is free for you to explore further and visit the city’s Christmas market. Here you’ll find a wealth of traditional goods, including Christmas decorations, hand-made toys, carved wooden boxes, leather goods, crystal and amber jewellery and more.
